The “Each One Teach One” campaign is borne out of our belief that if every alum were to contribute the cost of education they received at IIT Delhi, the Institute would have enough resources to be amongst the best universities of the world. Our undergraduate students pay roughly $13,000 for their 4 years of study at IITD while the cost of their education is about $40,000.
The campaign is an appeal to all alumni to contribute to the Institute by way of making a donation. The donation can be made for a specific cause dear to you. Alums should view this as a way of paying their tuition to IITD after their graduation and at a stage of their career when they are in a position to do so. All contributions in India and US are tax exempt. The earnings from the corpus so built will be utilized for supporting students, strengthen the teaching and research infrastructure, initiate new research programs, and for staff and faculty development. No contribution is small and each one combined with many others will go a long way in helping the Institute move towards its goal of financial self-sustainability.
