The Class of 1981 on the occasion of their 40th reunion wish to endow two student awards to be given out annually to:
- Best Cricketer of the Year (all-rounder) in memory of their batchmate Bimal Kumar Mahendroo.
- Best Indian Musician of the Year in memory of their batchmate S V Divvaakar.
These awards will encourage students in sports and co-curricular activities thereby improving their overall experience at IIT Delhi.
For Indian Residents, contribution to IIT Delhi is eligible to 100% deduction u/s 80G(2)(a)(iiif) of Income Tax Act.
For US Donors, the donations made via the IITDEF are tax-deductible under US tax law. You can find IITDEF in the public charities registry here.
For UK Donors, the donor shall provide a Gift Aid declaration to IIT AA UK which will then claim Gift Aid tax benefit from HMRC at the basic rate.
