Departments, Schools & Centers

Much of the teaching and research at IIT Delhi happens in its 30+ departments, schools and centers. When at IITD the time that students spend in the labs and various facilities at these academic units is next only to what they spend at their hostels.

The departments, centers and schools have their own rich stories of accomplishments, of faculty colleagues who have shaped them into what they are today and of students who have passed through their portals. Many of these academic units perform better than the Institute on various ranking criterion and support from friends and well-wishers can help them attain even greater heights.
