An open air amphitheatre lies at the intersection of the two newly constructed hostels – Dronagiri (Men’s) & Saptagiri (Women’s). Each of these hostels has 450 single seater rooms. The Amphitheatre faces the dining block of the two hostels. The glass wall of the dining area, facing the Amphitheatre, allows diners a direct view of the stage.
This amphitheatre would be the only central open facility for student activities and performances on campus besides the iconic OAT. The OAT, however, does not get used very often due to its massive size and complex logistical requirements. We therefore expect this Amphitheatre to become the hub of social and cultural activities on campus in the near future.
IIT Delhi offers donors the naming rights for this amphitheater. The Donor’s name will be displayed prominently on the beam above the stage in the Amphitheatre and on street signage’s leading to the hostel. Indoor signage’s shall also carry the donor’s name.
The image at the top is only for representation purposes.

Donor Recognition
Donor(s) will be able to choose an appropriate name which will be displayed prominently.
