Lecture Hall Complex

The lecture Hall complex at IIT Delhi offers spacious Lecture halls tutorial rooms and laboratories with the best-in-class audio-visual equipment. The impressive lobby offers a multipurpose space for conducting various events.

The 2 lecture halls (LH121, LH325) of capacity 500 are the crown jewels of the Lecture Hall complex. They regularly host institute-wide seminars and invited talks besides large undergraduate classes. Both these halls are equipped with a projection booth and one of these (LH121) has a large stage for cultural performances. 

A contribution of 15Cr would provide naming rights for LH325 and 16Cr the naming rights for LH121. 

The 3 lecture halls of capacity 300 each regularly host institute-wide seminars and invited talks besides large undergraduate classes.  

 

A contribution of 9Cr would provide naming rights to the donor. 

The 12 lecture halls of capacity 150 are the workhorse of this complex. Most undergraduate classes for core courses are conducted in these halls. 

A contribution of 4.5Cr would provide naming rights to the donor. 

The 12 lecture halls of capacity 60 and 2 halls of capacity 50 each are primarily used for lectures of elective courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

A contribution of 1.8Cr would provide naming rights for halls of capacity 60 and 1.5Cr would provide naming rights for halls of capacity 50.

2 conference rooms of capacity 50 each are used to host meetings, workshops and conference sessions.

A gift of 1.5Cr would provide naming rights to one of these conference rooms. 

The 8 lecture halls of capacity 30 each are primarily used for tutorials and lectures of elective courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

 

A contribution of 0.9Cr would provide naming rights to the donor.

Donor Recognition

Donors will be recognized by suitable signages and plaques placed at the entrance to the lecture hall.
